NEW BUILD

The school’s brief called for a multi purpose solution to provide a space for Art in all its forms and to provide a facility which could be hired out for extra curricular activities.

Nye Saunders Ltd. carried out a feasibility study which suggested a detached building would be most cost effective and allow construction with minimal disruption to the functioning of the school.

Our solution provides a double classroom sized space with sliding folding doors which allow the playground to be used as an extension to the teaching space. The new building provides a distinctive entrance to the school and abundant loft storage space with the ability for conversion in the future.
